All Volvo XC60 2016 Variants

Powerful T6

The 2016 Volvo XC60 T6 Drive-E engine comes with an output of 306 hp and 400 Nm of torque. The engine features a class-leading mixture of a turbo charger and a compressor. It’s using the supercharger to complete the bottom end provides engine a big, normally aspirated feel. While the turbocharger kicks in when the airflow builds up, the mechanically connected compressor starts to operate instantly at low revs. Fuel consumption with brand-new 8-speed automated is 33.6 mpg or 7.0 l/100 km (CO2 emissions in 163 g/km) in the XC60 2016.


T5 with 245 hp

The four-cylinder Drive-E engine 2016 Volvo XC60 T5 has 245 hp and 350 Nm of torque. Fuel intake with new 8-acceleration automated is 35.1 mpg or 6.7 l/100 km (CO2 emissions in 157 g/km) in the XC60 2016. Addititionally there is an All Wheel Drive edition of the Volvo XC60 2016, a 2.5-liter T5 engine with 254 hp.


D5 now with 220 hp

The five-cylinder 2016 Volvo XC60 D5 turbo diesel now has 220 hp and 420 Nm (420 manual, 440 automatic) of torque. The XC60 D5 with All Wheel Drive and manual gearbox offers fuel usage at 45.2 mpg or 5.2 l/100km (CO2 emissions in 137 g/km). The equivalent figures with the automated are 41.2 mpg or 5.7 l/100 km (CO2 emissions in 149 g/km).

With two versions of the five-cylinder engine D4, the Volvo XC60 2016 is also available in All Wheel Travel configuration. One is with 190 hp and 420 Nm and the other with 163 hp and 420 Nm of torque.

D4 now with 190 hp

The D4 Drive-E turbo diesel now gets 190 hp and 400 Nm of torque. The engine features world-initial i-ART technology that really helps to cut gas intake. The ‘i-ART’ makes it possible to continually monitor and adapt gasoline injection per combustion in each of the four cylinders, by featuring pressure feedback from each fuel injector instead of utilizing a traditional single pressure sensor in the common rail. Fuel intake in the 2016 Volvo XC60 D4 with manual gearbox is right down to 52.2 mpg or 4.5 l/100 km, translating into CO2 emissions at 117 g/km. Energy consumption with new 8-speed automatic is 50 mpg or 4.7 l/100 km (CO2 emissions at 124 g/km).

The Volvo XC60 2016 is also available with the 4-cylinder D3 Drive-E with 150 hp and 350 Nm of torque.
