I am a big fan of your work....
I bet you've heard all this before... But, I check your posts on the drawing board and even here and....wow you realy have an amazing grasp on color....and the renderings are aways fresh and life like...

Daniel! Thank you so much! This helps a lot. I figured out what I was responding to. It's your underlayer of conte! It picks up the canvas texture, then you put brushwork over it. Fantastic, and surprisingly effective in fooling the eye into thinking it isn't digital.
Thought you might want to know what I learned. :) Thanks again! I'll keep peeking!
